We are Umoona Community Council Inc. (UCCI), a proud not-for-profit, Aboriginal community-controlled organisation based in Coober Pedy, South Australia. Since our incorporation in 1975, we've been dedicated to delivering essential services, cultural programs, and strong advocacy for our community of over 400 Aboriginal residents.

We stand for our people — representing and supporting the local Aboriginal community through culturally responsive services and a strong commitment to self-determination.

Our direction is shaped by a Board of Directors elected by the community. Every decision we make is grounded in transparency, guided by community consultation, and respectful of cultural protocols — ensuring our people remain in control of our future.
