Through our Community Development Program, we lead two key initiatives that actively contribute to the wellbeing and sustainability of our town.

Our CDP Men’s Shed Group plays an important role in maintaining and improving local infrastructure. From repairing buildings and painting sheds to moving furniture and supporting clean-up efforts, we take pride in the practical work we do. Along the way, we build confidence, foster teamwork, and help each other prepare for future employment — all while strengthening pride in our community.

At the same time, our Community Nursery & Garden Team focuses on growing and maintaining plants, garden beds, and seedlings that support local food access and beautification efforts. Through hands-on horticulture, cultural learning, and sustainable practices, our garden has become a place for connection, skill-building, and caring for Country — creating lasting benefits for both our people and the environment.
