About the Program

Return to Country (RTC) – Coober Pedy
Supporting safe journeys home

The Return to Country program supports Elders and community members to reconnect with their traditional homelands with dignity, care, and respect.

Delivered in partnership with the Sobering Up Unit (S.U.U.), this program provides coordinated support for individuals who may be experiencing homelessness, displacement, or challenging circumstances.

Our compassionate Return To Country team provides outreach, logistical support, emergency assistance, and coordinated care to reconnect people with their home communities.
